Pirates surface again in the Indian Ocean

Nairobi: Sea fearers are soon becoming wary of undertaking voyages in the Indian Ocean. The siege of vessels time and again by Somali pirates has many maritime companies worried.
Apparently, US vessel Maersk Alabama has been usurped by Somali pirates again this year. It had been taken over by four pirates hailing from Somalia before as well in the month of April last year.
Another vessel MV Theresa has also come under the control of pirates. This vessel was shipping chemicals when it was captured by pirates little away from Seychelles.
The vessels are being seized for fat ransoms.
